  M-14P 

The M-14P engine represents an evolutionary development of the AI-14 Ivchenko engine. Developed by the famous Russian engineer Vedeyneev, it is similar in displacement to its predecessor. However, it has a more highly refined supercharger and induction system. These features, combined with improved materials technology which allows increased rpm and heat loading, enable it to have a standard rating of 360 HP. The planetary reduction unit allows for lower shaft rpm. This, in turn, allows the use of highly efficient long bladed propellers. Aerobatic pilots will immediately appreciate the additional advantages of low RPM relative to gyroscopic torque effects. The uniform cooling associated with the radial design and the increased frontal area also contribute to its aerobatic aircraft advantages. At this time, the M-14P is generally accepted as the best aircraft engine in the world for aerobatic aircraft. After market modifications for increased horsepower are also available.

Shadetree Aviation is proud to be the first exclusive Western partner for Voronezh Machine Building factory, the manufacturers of the M-14P. Although many have claimed this relationship, only Shadetree Aviation has the contracts and certificates to prove it and we are proud of it. Voronezh Machine Building factory is also the manufacturer of the "Energia" rocket engine (the largest in the world) which powers the Russian space shuttle. Shadetree Aviation has purchased the entire remaining store of new M-14P engines. These are the "best of the best". The bulk of these will be used for projects in Russia. However, 40 have been sent to the US and are stored at our Carson City airport facility awaiting your order. The Whirlwind Propeller Co. makes a three blade propeller for this engine which we recommend.

All engines are stored, untouched, in their original sealed Russian shipping boxes. They come with a tool kit, generator, engine driven high pressure air pump, and a spare parts set. These are export certified engines and come with factory original logs in English and an English technical manual. Price is subject to change as inventory is sold.
